Honestly I was hoping I would perhaps get to see what Native American group I am from. Apparently, thats just not how it works lol. In fact my results ended up being pretty broad but fun and surprising none the less. As I opened the results to see what in the world I could possibly be other than Mexican and maybe French, I was quite surprised to see Asian. I was possibly too excited for some people, as the nasty comments started to come in. Right, I deleted those. Ain't nobody got time for that. I was truly, pleasantly, surprised! No one in my family could have imagined. There's not much we have to go off of. There is no great grandmother or great grandfather to ask. Nor is there a grandfather, or even a biological father. My grandmother lost both of her parents at the age of 5 and while I could go on and make this story even more complicated, like I said in the video above, lets just say I didn't have 100% information about exactly what I was. When the time comes I will be trying other services just to compare and get the most out of what I can possibly discover with these exciting DNA tests. 23andme was very enriching. I would definitely recommend it. I believe it also happens to be the most budget friendly! And you know what, there is other bits of fun information I didn't mention in the video like, 23andme connecting me to over 1,000 DNA relatives around the world! Insane. Ofcourse this is something you can opt out of, but I left my profile public allowing DNA relatives to request my information. Also finding that 74% of my DNA relatives are more likely to drink coffee!? I'm a known coffee addict, I see it's in our blood lol. In the future I want to upgrade to the health part of the results, and that's a whole other very exciting part of 23andme. I realize now that I HAVE to order a kit for my mom! and hopefully convince my grandmother to do it and therefore find just a few more answers for my very curious little mind. I hope you found this helpful, and I wish you the best of luck with your results if you plan to take the DNA test for yourself! And remember that we're all human and most of us will find that we are the world. Part of all nations, part of the human race. Unless you're part alien... Not a sponsored post.
